Visa — Crypto is Evolving:
Cryptocurrency was founded partly as a potential alternative to established financial services. But as crypto gains popularity in the mainstream, governments around the world and traditional banking institutions are taking notice. Visa, in turn, is poised to tap into crypto’s potential by serving as the bridge connecting crypto and blockchain networks to their trusted global payment network.
In 2021 Visa introduced their Crypto Advisory Service to help partners navigate the new era of money movement. Their Digital Currency Innovation Hub works to provide clients with everything they need to help unlock the exciting new opportunities that digital currencies have to offer.
Visa also participated in a pilot program with Clothia, Circly and Crypto.com which employed a fast and easy way for online marketplaces to pay sellers using USDC (Stablecoin).

Roland Berger’s digital transformation consulting team RB N3XT is an integral part of the Spielfeld community. The team has its own dedicated offices here and Spielfeld Managing Director Anna Ohlsen-Mangold serves as Principal on their team. Chainlink Berlin Meetup Series:
Since January 2021, Spielfeld has hosted a monthly meetup organized by blockchain powerhouse Chainlink.
Chainlink is a blockchain product that brings together different blockchain networks. Blockchain networks have, up until now, existed independently. Digital networks were not linked and there was no way to connect them to real-world data that exists outside of the blockchain. Building on what Ethereum created with regards to smart contracts, Chanlink helps different chains interact with each other and with outside data sources via a secure Oracle network. In short: Chainlink connects applications like PayPal or traditional banks with the Ethereum blockchain.
Speakers at past meetups have covered Crypto Wallets and Security Tokens, but this meetup series doesn’t just focus on payments. The series has also covered wider Web3 topics including NFTs, Art Communities and Blockchain, Women in Blockchain and the Metaverse.
